After winning division one in style – undefeated in 22 games, scoring 90 goals and only conceding 8 all season – the Ladies 3s are back in the premier league and on top form. With a winning combination of confident and composed adult ladies as well as speedy juniors with bags of potential, they are aiming to show the opposition that they mean business. This year they have a new secret weapon in our coach Sam Marchant, with his strong tactical and motivational skills helping mould what is proving to be a strong team. The ladies continue to have the support of their manager Janice, and the new captain this year, Ros, is trying to make spreadsheets and laminating cool. Together they are aiming for domination – the opposition should be quaking in their boots.
