SUPER SATURDAY, March 4th
TICKETS

Please can we urge you if you have not already to either register for your free ticket or buy a £10 ticket for the grandstand. You do not need to show these on the day. You can only access the Grandstand if you have your name on the list of pre-brought tickets. There may be some seats available on the day to buy from the ticket booth found in between the pitches (but please note that on the day will not include chips or soft drinks due to limitations on catering).

We anticipate that the balcony will be very busy and that the best view will likely be from the Grandstand which is also covered. Pre brought tickets also come with a soft drink and portion of chips brought to your seat! We want to make sure the stands are packed and by buying a ticket you are helping cover the costs of bringing the stands in. It should help us build a great atmosphere.

If you have a free ticket take the opportunity to use the steps and get around the outside of the pitch- again it will help make for a fantastic atmosphere!

WEATHER/SUPPORTERS KIT

Firstly weather is set cold but dry- dress warmly. We also strongly encourage all Southgate supporters to wear red, be that club kits or fancy dress or anything reasonably suitable, wear your Southgate hats and scarves and make as much noise to support the teams as possible.

PROGRAMMES

Match Day programmes are being sold and ALL the money taken is going to charity. A lot of work has gone into making them with huge thanks to Michelle for designing them and Mike Burman for his generosity in printing them- we encourage everyone to buy one as a great souvenir, a guide to the day and most importantly to show support to our great charities.  Every penny made from the sales goes directly to all 3 charities. 

CHARITIES
We are raising money for 3 fab charities- NORTH LONDON HOSPICE, WORLDWIDE CANCER RESEARCH and THE SOUTHGATE SPORTS & LEISURE TRUST.  Ella Duthie and Lewis Hollett are leading on this- please do support them in any way you can. There will be a raffle and donations are encouraged on the day.

CLUB HOUSE

The club house is likely to be very busy especially between the hours of 3pm and 7pm so please where possible use the outside bar by the sand pitch which has a great range of drinks and snacks. Queues for drinks may be longer than usual; so please be patient and polite especially with centre staff who are working double shifts to keep us all fed and watered. Freshly made pizzas and burgers will be available to buy in the top car park right by the club house.

TEAM TEAS

Team teas will be served as usual but this week in the heated marquee as we have a hot drinks and food stall by the kitchen. 

PARKING

Although we encourage people to come by public transport or car share we anticipate we should be able to use the lower field for over flow parking- please note there is no parking in the top car park. Once again please leave ample time to get to the club on Saturday- we anticipate it could get busy down Snake’s Lane from 2pm and again after the final whistle has blown on the M1. We have a team of parking attendants on the day who will be working very hard to keep cars moving- but again please be patient. 

SOCIAL MEDIA

Please do take lots of pictures and videos and share these on your social media- it all helps create a buzz and draws people to the live stream for those unable to make it on the day.

LITTER

If you see litter around- it helps everyone if you could pick it up and put it in a bin. Please don’t leave it to Liz to be left with this.

WATER PITCH GAMES
 
All games will be filmed by our club cameras. The W1 and M1 game will be filmed by Galvanised and streamed live as well as highlights being projected onto the big screen.

Water Pitch games will also have Andy Day and Wayne Garner providing PA, music and more besides to add some fun and excitement.
 
BAR AND TUCK SHOP
The Sandy Pirate will be serving drinks pitch side by the sand pitch behind the stands and there is also a tuck shop to enjoy.

All pints will be served in SHC plastic pints. These cost a pound. If returned after use the £1 will be donated to the charities.

Card only. All bars are card only. Members cards can be used at the main bar, but because of technology limitations cannot be used at the coffee shop or the outside tuck shop and bar.

TOILETS
available in the foyer and also via changing rooms 2 and 5. Changing room toilets will be closed for a couple of short periods whist showers are in use.
KIT STORE
The meeting room downstairs is being repurposed as a ticketed kit store. If you are playing and staying please put your kit bag in the store. Kit bags left in foyer, bar or marquee will be removed.
VIDEOGRAPHERS
There are two videographers one from SHC and one from Y1 making videos on the day capturing the atmosphere these will be turned into short videos for use on social.
 
VOLUNTEERS
Thanks to those who have volunteered- we still need more to come forward. Many hands make light work.
 
DOORS TO CHANGING ROOMS
 
The M2, W1 and M1 will be running out from here- there is smoke and lighting effects being used as well as pitch side interviews- please during these games where possible do not use these doors or the changing room corridor. We need to ease congestion here.
 
CENTRE STAFF
Please go out of your way to be kind and patient. Club members needs to lead the way on this- there may be queues- keep calm, carry on and be kind.
