Older members will be greatly saddened to hear that Robin Willmott has died aged 90.

Robin was the father of our President John Willmott.   Robin joined the club in 1948 and was President himself 1974-1977 during the club’s glory years.    He was also the first chairman of Southgate Sports & Leisure Trust and one of leading figures in our move to Trent Park from the Walker Ground.

Robin played in the 1st X1 and much later was the first captain of the Magnums.    He was a Life member of the club.

Our condolences go to his widow Trissa and to his sons John and Tim.
