🏑 SOUTHGATE JUNIORS – WEEKLY ROUND-UP 🔴⚪
by Irene Lee
Another fantastic weekend of hockey across the junior section, with our teams out representing Southgate Hockey Club across Hertfordshire and beyond. There were some brilliant results, plenty of goals and, most importantly, lots of great hockey and development on show.
With half term coming up, don’t forget that Southgate Half Term Hockey Camps are running! It’s a great opportunity for our juniors to get some extra hockey, work on their skills and have plenty of fun during the break.
Make sure you sign up and secure a place! 🏑

The U14G Dolphins showed great character against Old Loughtonians, twice coming from behind to earn a 3-3 draw before narrowly losing 3-2 in the shuffle shootout.
Elsie scored twice (Q1 and Q4) and Anya added a goal in Q3, while Sydney, Victoria, Elsie, Anya and Sienna all stepped up bravely for the shuffles and our GK Jialin made some great saves.

🏑 SOUTHGATE HALF TERM HOCKEY CAMPS 🔴⚪
More hockey this half term!
School may be taking a break, but the hockey doesn’t have to.
Southgate Half Term Hockey Camps are running over the break and are a brilliant opportunity for juniors to get some extra pitch time, develop their skills and keep playing during half term.
Whether it’s working on technique, getting extra practice or simply enjoying more hockey with friends, it’s a great way to keep those sticks moving.
Make sure you sign up for some extra hockey this half term! 💪🏑
