Southgate Women are looking for a swift response to a disappointing 1-4 loss to an inform Teddington team last weekend as they travel for their 14:00 PB against Reading W2’s side.

Southgate coach Ronan Casella does not have an easy task on his hand as Reading sit just below Teddington in the table both tied on 13 points. Southgate meanwhile sit mid table in 7th with 7 points yet have Guildford and Sevenoaks had on their heels.

Casella brings in forward Jess Hood this week along with a return to the W1’s for Liv Richardson who he will be hoping will bring some niggle to the defensive lines.

Meanwhile Reading under coach Ryan Croxon come into this game off the back of a very tight 3-2 loss to league leaders Exeter last weekend- skipper Sophie Pettegree and Sammy Petch on the scoreline for Reading.

Southgate captain Ellie Robinson will take heart from the fact that although Reading have found winning form- those wins including against the likes of lower teams like Sevenoaks and Harleston have been cagey, tight affairs with precious little to separate the teams- just one goal in all their games with the exception of their 3-0 win at home to Guildford on the 27th September.

A win on Saturday would propel Southgate into the top half of the table and set up a very tasty home match against Surbiton on the 15th.
