Southgate back to the pitch as League Hockey returns for 2025

Southgate teams were back in action on Saturday as players from almost all the teams returned to League Hockey with our W1 the long distance travellers playing their Division 2 finals in Telford where they finished 3rd.

Highlights include the M4 in a record 10-1 win over Chiswick with Chris Kastelik scoring 4 and our W5 in a big 3-1 win over league leaders Hampstead & Westmsinters. And away from home our W3 put in a heroic performance away at London Edwardians to draw 1-1 in London Division One.

Our M2 continued their winning form with a strong 3-1 win away to Wayfarers and our W2 fought Tulse Hill & Dulwich to a tight 1-1 draw on home soil maintaining their place at the zenith of the London Premier Division.

There were also good wins for our W4 and Titans 055 team in their cup game which ended in a thrilling shoot-out won by the Gate in a 8-9 victory!
