🏑 Southgate Juniors Weekly Round-Up 🔴⚫
Another brilliant weekend of Junior hockey – full of energy, progress, determination, and lots of proud moments across the club!
U10 Girls – Boas & Adders
Our U10 Boas and Adders travelled to Cambridge for their tournament.
The results may not have gone our way, but there was plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and huge smiles certainly did. The progress in this group is unmistakable with so much promise and so much to be excited about!
U10 Boys – Cambridge Tournament
A fantastic effort from our U10 Boys, who played four competitive matches:
L 1–2, W 3–1, W 2–0, L 0–4.
Two strong wins, excellent teamwork, and valuable learning moments. A performance full of growth and character. Well done boys!
U14 Girls – Dolphins & Penguins
The U14 Dolphins kept up their momentum with a confident 4 – 1 win over H&W Bs. A great team performance from start to finish.
The U14 Penguins, joined by some brilliant U12 loanees (thank you, girls!), showed huge heart in a tough match against H&W Cs. The 5 – 1 scoreline didn’t reflect the effort or competitiveness. There were lots of positives and proud moments.
U14 Boys – Sharks
The U14 Sharks played in a thrilling, end-to-end contest against Wapping, eventually falling 4 – 2.
Saif was outstanding with two excellent goals, and all 16 boys put in a tremendous shift and deserve credit. A high-quality game and an exciting way to end a busy Sunday! 💥
U14 Boys – Whales
A superb showing from the U14 Whales with a commanding 5 – 0 win over Ealing Tigers.
Goals shared between Ollie, Freddie, and Benjamin – great teamwork and clinical finishing. Fantastic work, boys!
U16 Girls – PJs
Another strong week for the U16 PJs, who secured a well-deserved 3–1 victory.
Great discipline, teamwork, and control throughout – well done everyone!
U16 Boys – Tigers
The U16 Tigers’ match against Tulse Hill & Dulwich was cancelled, but the team will be back and ready for action next week.
